Having recently celebrated 40 years of her iconic wrap dress, Diane Von Furstenburg shows that she and her DVF collection get better with age. Millions of women around the world have curated their personal collection of her signature prints and body conscious silhouettes. I was first introduced to her collection when I worked at Neiman Marcus, almost ten years ago. Regardless if my client was a size 0 or a size 14, I could rely on her shapes to make a woman feel confident at any size or shape.
Diane Von Furstenburg promotes global awareness both by the models that she chooses for her runway and various ad campaigns and also by highlighting prints from around the world within her collection.
If you’re planning a trip to Los Angeles between now and April check out her “Journey of a Dress” exhibit at the Wilshire May Company Building.
